New Underwriting Restrictions

2010 is predicted to bring about more change and more restrictions in mortgage underwriting guidelines.   FHA for the first time in decades has issued new tougher qualification requirements including a minimum FICO score, higher insurance rates and a decrease of seller contributions, causing borrowers to bring higher cash amounts towards a home purchase.

Fully Automated Monitoring Service

XpertMonitor is an automated service offered through SIR’s advanced technology which allows lenders to pre-select a series of future credit pulls to monitor FICO scores.   The system features the ability to pre determine the approvable FICO score target.   Lenders then choose from 3,6, 12 month options for credit to be re pulled, alerts are sent when FICO scores have reached approvable levels.

Planing for Future Approvals

XpertMonitor most importantly allows lenders to create a meaningful relationship with borrowers who do not qualify today due to lower FICO scores than programs require, but want to stay connected and develop a strategy to make adjustments for future approval.
