OUR POLICY:

SIR Appraisal Management Division warrants and incorporates by reference its conformance and adherence to the following:

ALL REPORTS, REVIEWS AND CONSULTING CONFORM TO:

  • Current USPAP guidelines as promulgated by Appraisal Standards Board of Appraisal Foundation including all advisory opinions.
  • All state and federal regulation regarding preparation and transmission of real estate reports.
  • Current interagency appraisal and evaluation guidelines as adopted by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) and the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
  • Strict adherence to the Home Valuation Code of Conduct (HVCC) as promulgated by the Federal Housing Finance Agency as regulator for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the 12 federal home loan banks along with HUD adaptations to the Code.
